Come And Try Day

In October and November 2011, come along and see how you enjoy Magill Little Athletics at the Pembroke School Haslam Oval, cnr The Parade and Gurrs Road, Kensington Gardens, from 9.00am on Sunday mornings (please arrive by 8.45am).  A $5.00 fee is payable for "Come and Try" athletes.  Each new athlete is entitled to one Come and Try session.

Registration Information for New Members

To register as a Little Athlete please see our Registrations Officer at the Registration Table prior to the meet (8:30am-8:55am) or at the conclusion of any home meeting.

Registering to be a Little Athlete

Registration fees are payable to the club. A portion of these fees are paid to the SA Little Athletics Association ("SALAA"). This allows SALAA to hold major events throughout the year, administer the association and insure all participating athletes and our equipment. The balance of the fees are used to administer our club (including upgrading and replacing equipment and purchasing trophies and medals at the end of each season). We believe this represents excellent value for money.

2011-2012 Season Fees

A $10.00 discount may be available for athletes that pay their fees to the Registrar by 17 September 2011.

It is compulsory to wear the full club uniform and pay the full amount of fees immediately. All athletes, including Tiny Tots, must be registered to be able to compete in Little Athletics.  The full uniform package costs $80.00.

What Age Group Will I Be In?

Age groups are determined by the athlete's age on September 30th. The athlete maintains this age group for the whole of the Little Athletics season, including Cross-Country, until September 30th the following year. Children must be 5 years of age on or before September 30th 2011 to compete in the U/6 age group. Children who are 3 years of age on or before September 30th 2011 may compete in Tiny Tots, including those who turn 4 or 5 during the season. Children must compete in their designated age group. Competing in a higher age group is not permitted by SALAA.
